Spain tailor made holidays

All About Tailor made Travel ATOL licence
Explore some of Spain’s most authentic locations. We focus on a selection of Spanish towns, villages and islands that are simply spectacular. Often we think of long haul destinations when it comes to our annual holidays without realising that perhaps some of those dreamy remote islands or historic towns we have in mind can be a lot closer than what we think?

It is impossible to feature every corner of Spain but we can certainly advice you on some very special places to visit, whether in Spain main land or in one of its islands. Whether a self drive holiday or a multi centre holiday, a week relaxing in a boutique hotel in a remote island or a ski holiday, the options are endless. Easter time is a special time to visit South of Spain. Seeing the religious processions that happen during Easter is a unique experience. During summer time, there are lots of festivals and ferias taking place. All outdoors of course, and very traditional. We can always offer expert advice and book all your travel arrangements with plenty of flexibility and most importantly, offering a full ATOL protection.

Preferred locations to visit in Spain.

  • Formentera, a small and intimate island with spectacular beaches, ideal for those seeking “away from it all” romantic holidays.
  • Mallorca, the biggest island in the Balearics. The Northern part is the most authentic. Puerto Pollensa, Formentor, Deia & Valldemosa are a must vist.
  • Granada, a bohemian city in Andalucia with one of Spain’s most visited monuments: The Alhambra.
  • Ronda, authentic small Andalucian town up in the mountains and near Marbella.
  • Lanzarote, a volcanic island with landscapes similar to Hawaii’s Big Island.
  • Malaga, Picasso’s birthplace, with its beautiful historic town, Thyssen, Picasso & Pompidou Museums and Antonio Banderas’ Theatre in the trendy Soho’s district.
  • Barcelona and its unique architecture and Dali influence. Casa Batlo & Parc Guell are a must visit.
  • San Sebastian, small coast town described as the most elegant city in Spain.

Best time to visit Spain

April, May and June are perfect months to visit Spain, particularly South of Spain. Canary Islands enjoy lovely weather all year round and cities such as Malaga as well but places in the North like Barcelona or San Sebastian can be cold in autumn and winter months. Balearic Islands enjoy glorious weather also in spring. Summers in Spain can be very hot.

Top things to see & do while visiting Spain

  • Visit Alhambra Palace in Granada. Book your ticket well in advance to avoid disappointment.
  • Paseo de los Tristes and Mirador de San Nicolas, two of Granada’s most scenic locations.
  • Granada, for a real Andalucian experience try a meal at Mirador de Morayma Restaurant or a flamenco show at the famous Sacromonte Caves.
  • Don’t miss a musical at Antonio Banderas’ Soho Theatre in Malaga.
  • Casa Batlo in Barcelona and Sagrada Familia Cathedral, cannot miss if you visit Barcelona.
  • Castillo de Santa Catalina, Jaen. A National Parador and a unique place to spend a couple of nights.
