Best time to visit Thailand

The dry and hot season runs from November to April although the climate can be different in different parts of the country, so depending what part of Thailand you are planning to visit, it is an all-year-round destination. For beach weather, diving and snorkeling, November to March months will be the best in the South West Coast.May is middle season so flights and hotel prices will be great and if visiting, better to stay in the East coast of Thailand.
June to October are rainy months but you will still find sunny and hot weather with intense humidity.

Top things to see & do while visiting Thailand

  • Culture, chaos and Buddhist splendeur in Bangkok, Thailand’s energetic capital.
  • The atmospheric ruins of the Old Thai capitals at Sukhothai and Ayuthaya.
  • Pristine rainforests teeming with wildlife at Khao Yai National Park.
  • Humbling relics from the Thailand-Burma railway at Kanchanaburi.
  • Unspoiled islands of the kind that inspired Alex Garland’s THE BEACH at Ko Tarutao National Marine Park.
  • Dance barefoot on the sands at a full moon bash on Koh Pha-Ngan.
  • Try a visit to a local market followed by a cooking lesson while visiting Chiang Mai.
  • Test your head for heights by climbing the awesome karst outcrops at Krabi.
  • Trek to atmospheric tribal villages around Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son.
  • Dive with magnificent megafauna at Richelieu Rock, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.
