12-night self drive holiday to California plus 5-night beach extension in Hawaii, Oahu Island (Waikiki Beach).
Travel to San Francisco and spend a week self driving along the sunny California Coast to Los Angeles via Carmel, Monterey, the surf town of Pismo Beach, Santa Barbara and Montecito, Malibu, terminating in sunny Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles. Then, take a direct six hour flight to Honolulu and enjoy five nights at the famous Waikiki Beach. While in Oahu, we highly recommend visiting Pearl Harbor, Kualoa Ranch, Secret Island and The Polynesian Cultural Centre as some of Oahu’s top things to do.

Collect your hire car in the morning and self drive two hours South to Monterey. While in Monterey, visit the Old Fisherman's Wharf, Lovers Point Park, San Carlos Cathedral or Asilomar State Beach. Carmel by the Sea is an upmarket seaside town with a beautiful beach and lovely shops and restaurants, a perfect overnight stop en route to Los Angeles.
