Negombo - Anuradhapura - Dambulla
Today, as part of your private sightseeing activities, you will be visiting the following locations:
Anuradhapura ruins, Sri Lanka's first capital founded in 5th century BC. and home to the origins of Buddhism. Thousands of Buddhists pilgrims visit Anuradhapura every year to visit the famous "Sri Maha Bodhi" tree, a key symbol to Buddhism religion.
In the afternoon, visit the mountain peak of Mihintale, then terminate at your hotel for the evening.

Dambulla - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Dambulla
Today you will be visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress (also known as Lion Rock), a world known monument in Sri Lanka, it is just a short distance from your hotel.
Sigiriya Fortress, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, rises 200 meters above a lush forest plain and the views from the top are spectacular.
In the afternoon, you will be visiting Polonnaruwa ancient city, also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we've organised a private city tour with an English speaking guide.
Terminate back at your hotel in the early evening.Dambulla - Kandy
Visit a spice garden batik factory and learn all about the Sri Lankan species and aromatics that made this country so famous for.

Kandy - Pinnawala - Kandy
Morning visit to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. (approx. transfer time 1 hour 15 minutes).
Pinnawela is home to young lost or displaced Elephants. You will be able to see them playing in the water and being fed. Such a unique experience to animal lovers!
Return to Kandy in the afternoon for a private guided city tour where you will be visiting a local market, the lake, a Gem Museum and a local Art Gallery.Evening visit to "Temple of the Tooth" at the Royal Palace complex. It is here that you will be able to see "The Relic of the tooth of Buddha". Men must wear long trousers to visit this temple.
Enjoy an evening cultural dance show in a local authentic venue. Watch out for the hilarious local monkeys!Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
This place was the original private garden to Sri Lanka's king, then converted into Botanical Gardens for the public.
Travel to Nuwara Eliya (tea plantation area) in the afternoon (+/- 1 hour 30 minutes transfer duration). On arrival, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing of this beautiful part of the country and visit a tea factory and plantation.
Homes preserve a British Georgian style, there's an Anglican church, lush golf courses... Nuwara Eliya is 6,200 feet above sea level and enjoys fresh temperatures.
