Self drive from Panama City to Anton Valley, located approximately 120kms from Panama City.

The Caldera at Anton Valley (a Stratovolcano) measures 6kms radius and was formed 1.1 to 1.3 million years ago. This part of Panama sits 600 meters above the sea level and offers a +/- 28C temperature all year round. 

The dry season starts in the middle of December and lasts until the end of April. At this time the weather is sunny and very windy. October / November are known as wet months or "green season".

The local population is mainly descended from the Guaymi Indian tribe. In the course of time the Panamanian upper class discovered the assets of the valley and built their weekend homes here.  By now there live over 7.000 people in El Valle, including ex pats from different parts of the World.
