Best places to visit, Argentina

• Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Also called by many “the Paris of Latin America”.
• Iguassu Falls. Take a short direct flight from Buenos Aires to Iguassu Falls and see both sides of the Falls, the Argentinian and the Brazilian. You will need one full day exploring each side of the falls at your own pace.
• Patagonia. Ideally, if you could spend a week here or even longer, the better. It is a long way from Buenos Aires but well worth the experience. Fly to the small town of El Calafate, where Los Glaciares National Park is located, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Tierra del Fuego, where Ushuaia town is (the most Southern part of Argentina), your base for exploring this amazing part of the country.
• Bariloche and the famous route of the Seven Lakes.
• Mendoza, one of Argentina’s prettiest cities with impressive Art Deco architecture.

Best time to visit Argentina

Autumn in Argentina (April to June) and spring (end of September to December) are the best seasons to explore beautiful Buenos Aires, the “Paris of Latin America”.

End of September through to end of February will be the best months to visit Patagonia. Expect mild temperatures and very pleasant weather.

Iguassu Falls enjoy a tropical climate so one can visit any time of the year. Torrential short rainfall can be expected at any time, it is the nature of where the Falls are located geographically.
