Kalahari Desert - Sossusvlei
It will take you +/- 5 hours. Roads are pretty empty and you will enjoy the endless landscapes that sparkle with the reflection of the sun over so many different type of minerals on the ground, it is truly amazing!
2 nights tented accommodation on bed and breakfast basis at Desert Quiver Camp, Sossusvlei.
Sossusvlei, Namib Naukluft National Park
The scenery in this part of Namibia is simply surreal.
Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan that is surrounded by very high red sand dunes.
Do not miss climbing Dune 45, ideally just before sunrise. This will be hard work and you will need to bring plenty of water with you, as well as the appropriate gear.
Do not miss the area full of dead trees (Deadveli) forming surreal landscapes.
Sossusvlei - Swakopmund
The drive will take you +/- 5 hours. Once again, you will enjoy empty roads, plenty of sun and beautiful landscapes.
Swakopmund is a town by the Atlantic Ocean. You will notice a strong german influence in this remote Namibian town.

Enjoy a full day free in Swakopmund.
Do not miss a 4x4 day trip into Sandwich Harbour, this is just really spectacular. Your vehicle will be driving up and down huge sand dunes and along the sea.
You will be able to climb sand dunes and run down all the way to the sea, it is possible to swim for those who love swimming in the ocean.
You can also enjoy a catamaran day trip from Walvis Bay to Pelican Point, also equally spectacular.
Swakopmund - Damaraland
Driving time today will be +/- 5 hours. You will probably see himba tribes along the way which is very interesting.
You will also notice how the landscape changes as you get closer to Damaraland, with lots of orange, brown and yellow colours forming mesmerising landscapes.

Damaraland - Etosha National Park
Afternoon free at leisure.

It is possible for you to self drive always driving on the paved roads. Driving off road is not permitted.
You must also drive during day time and return to your lodge before sunset.
If you prefer to go on a professional Safari in a special vehicle with a ranger, this option is also possible and you will be able to pre book your safari drives in advance.

Etosha NP - Windhoek

Last day
Overnight flight back to London.
